PRIVACY + NOTICE AT COLLECTION

Website Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Free Payment Solutions collects through this website, why it is collected, how it may be disclosed, and the choices available to visitors, applicants, and business contacts.

Last updated August 1, 2026

Notice at collection

Free Payment Solutions ("FPS," "we," "us," or "our") operates this website. At or before collection, we may collect the categories below for the stated business purposes. We do not ask for Social Security numbers, tax identification numbers, dates of birth, bank credentials, or payment-card numbers in the Processing Fit Check.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising through this website. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about a person. If those practices change, this notice and the applicable choice mechanism will be updated before the change takes effect.

  • Identifiers and contact information: name, business name, email, phone number, operating state, website, and a generated application reference.
  • Professional and commercial information: business history, product categories, fulfillment practices, processing status, volumes, average order size, rates, fees, reserves, chargebacks, priorities, and MATCH/TMF status supplied by the applicant.
  • Documents and correspondence: processing statements, messages, privacy requests, and other information voluntarily submitted to FPS.
  • Device and activity information: IP address and basic request or security logs created by our hosting infrastructure; step events are emitted only to an analytics tool if one is configured on the site.
  • Local device data: an unfinished Fit Check may be stored in the visitor's browser. An optional emailed return-link copy expires after seven days.

Why we use information

  • Provide, save, secure, and improve the website and Processing Fit Check.
  • Evaluate a business's potential processing path, prepare a file for review, and communicate about the requested services.
  • Review statements, calculate applicant-provided estimates, identify fees, and assess processing history.
  • Prevent abuse, protect applicants and FPS, troubleshoot errors, and maintain records required by law, contracts, sponsor institutions, or card-network programs.
  • Respond to privacy, legal, accessibility, and account-related requests.

Where information comes from

We collect information directly from the person or business submitting it, automatically from the browser or hosting infrastructure, and, when necessary for a requested processing review, from service providers, acquiring or processing partners, fraud and compliance providers, and records the applicant authorizes us to review.

How information may be disclosed

We disclose information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here. Recipients may include website hosting, cloud storage, email delivery, security, analytics, professional-adviser, underwriting, acquiring, processing, sponsor-bank, and compliance service providers. We may also disclose information to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or complete a merger, financing, or transfer of the business subject to appropriate safeguards.

A merchant application or processing agreement may contain additional privacy and data-handling terms. Those contract-specific terms govern that processing relationship if they conflict with this website policy.

Retention and deletion

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the application, processing relationship, security, dispute, legal, tax, audit, contractual, and recordkeeping purposes for which it was collected. The period depends on the record and the status of the relationship. A browser draft remains on the device until it is cleared or the Fit Check is completed; an optional server-side return-link draft expires after seven days.

When retention is no longer reasonably necessary, records are deleted, de-identified, or isolated from routine use, subject to backup cycles and legal preservation obligations.

Security and payment data

FPS uses administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed for the nature of the information handled. Statement uploads use short-lived signed links and protected object storage and are not attached to internal notification email. No website or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Do not submit cardholder data, bank credentials, Social Security numbers, tax identification numbers, dates of birth, medical records, passwords, or authentication codes through this website. Payment-card data must be handled only through the approved, PCI-scoped systems identified in the applicable processing arrangement.

U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on where a person resides and whether an applicable law covers the request, rights may include access, correction, deletion, portability, information about collection or disclosure, and choices concerning sale, targeted advertising, profiling, or certain sensitive information. FPS does not discriminate for exercising an applicable privacy right.

Submit a request through the Privacy Request page. We may verify identity, authority, residency, and the relationship to FPS before acting. Authorized agents may be asked for signed permission and the consumer may be asked to verify directly. If a request is denied, the response will explain any available appeal process. These rights may be limited by legal exceptions, including records needed to provide requested services, secure systems, detect fraud, comply with law, or establish or defend claims.

Children

This business-to-business site is not directed to children under 13, and FPS does not knowingly collect their personal information through the site. Do not submit information about a child.

Changes and questions

We may update this policy as the site, services, vendors, or legal requirements change. The updated date will identify the current version. Privacy questions and requests may be submitted through the Privacy Request page.
